Lush Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment

Have I found the sweetest smelling Lush product yet? One experience of a Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment says yes!

Lush’s flagship Oxford St store saw a lot of changes for the well-loved cosmetics company. Huge bottles of Comforter Shower gel, paper soaps and even more innovative bath bombs now grace their shelves, along with a new line of luxury bath oils including the super sweet Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment.
You may well be familiar with MMM’s previous incarnation in Lush’s bath melt line. Since the revamp the previously retro looking melts have been reinvented into a new, more intense formula; though these bath oils may be small in size they now pack a much bigger punch and are more than worth £2 a pop for an occasional treat.

Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment has gone from a bulky, pastel pink lump to a chic little round disc. Being bright pink and yellow this bath oil is hard to miss and the fine glitter really gives it an extra bit of razzle dazzle (which, incidentally, is another product in the range). When using a bath oil you must remember that it simply won’t give off the same effect as a bath bomb. Rather than a pastel, mad explosion you’re in for a silky smooth bath that leaves your skin soft and moisturised. If your skin doesn’t agree with conventional bath bombs these will make a lovely alternative as you can experience a fancy smelling bath without any potential skin bother.

To use you can either pop in the bath and leave to dissolve or hold beneath the tap for near-instant infusion. As soon as I slipped into the MMM bath I was a little taken aback by just how oily the water felt, despite being fairly small you really can feel the product in the water and it’s unbelievably pleasant. The scent also proved to be adequately strong and was very sweet without being too overpowering; it actually lingered on the skin  afterwards which was wonderful.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this little wonder and I’m personally excited to try a few others in the range. You’ve Been Mangoed and Happy Thoughts are both absolutely calling my name!
